Apple Watch question after the jump...

I recieved a 38mm Apple Watch Sport as a gift. Prior to opening it I was reading the specs and it is not water proof. I can wear my Fitbit in the shower and I like that. I looked for waterproof cases, but they only seem to exist for the 42mm watch. I could exchange my unopened 38 and pay $50 to get a watch that is 4mm larger, but has waterproof cases available. Is it worth it?

I'd say it's not worth it.

I can’t really weigh in on the Apple Watch thing because I’m meh on them as a whole, I just wanted to say the intro to Time is the greatest alarm clock tone ever.

You said you like it, but what is the need to wear a watch in the shower? If you were swimming with the watch, that’s something else, but I’d think that such an activity would be better suited to the Fitbit.

Save the $50 and just keep the watch out of the shower.

I can see myself forgetting to take it off. That is what concerns me.
